Movement is a key aspect to good health, and limitations in mobility can greatly impact quality of life. Mobility assessments consider how pain, injury and illness can limit strength, flexibility and sensation in order to create a plan with a focus on improving independence and freedom of movement.
Balance Training & Fall Prevention
Impaired balance and falls can lead to serious injuries. Our physiotherapists can complete a falls risk assessment to identify safety hazards in the home and advise you how to reduce these. As part of their assessment the physiotherapist will also assess your balance and prescribe specific exercises to target any deficits you may have. Balance training can help improve your mobility and transfers, allowing you to participate more confidently in day to day life.
Gait Training & Equipment Prescription
Our qualified physiotherapists can complete a thorough assessment of your mobility. Following this assessment, they can prescribe an appropriate aid if required and teach you how to use this correctly. Our physiotherapists can also work with you to improve the safety and efficiency of your walking.
Strength & Exercise Programs
Injury, illness, age and extended inactivity can all significantly decrease strength and endurance. Our physiotherapists will complete a thorough assessment of your abilities and then customise an exercise program tailored to your needs. We can work with you to improve lower limb, upper limb and core strength, aerobic function as well as activity tolerance, helping you to do the activities you love and enjoy.

and water resistance make hydrotherapy very beneficial as your body can progress through exercises and
movements that are usually too difficult to do on land. Eliminating gravity also has its benefits in reducing pain and
loading on the body. Hydrotherapy can help with: Strengthening muscles, Mobilizing joints, Relieving pain,
